Eye Candy

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Just a quick post for today… I wanted to share a few photos of a candy station we did this past June. It was candy station to end all candy stations!

The bride wanted it to be the “WOW” factor of the wedding and I have to say, hearing the “oohs” and “ahhs” as guests walked into the reception and saw the display was my favorite part of the night!

The candy was all pink and white and the printing incorporated her butterfly motif…

Hundreds of romantic garden roses, hydrangea, nerine lilies, lisianthus and bells of Ireland composed the centerpieces that towered over the candy… gorgeous!

Eat your heart out!

"Hamptons" Rehearsal

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Lauren and Kevin’s rehearsal dinner was best described by the bride herself- “Hamptons chic.”

She knew exactly what she wanted for her rehearsal dinner. Since every guest was invited, she wanted it to be quite different than the wedding but still just as refined and sophisticated. Their Kiawah wedding was to be filled with lowcountry favorites (from sweetgrass baskets to shrimp and grits) so they decided for the night before to bring the familiarity of the Hamptons (their regular vacation spot) to Kaiwah! Pure white raw silk linens, pitchers of hydrangea and natural chivari chairs were perfection… I was ready to pack it up and head up to the Hamptons myself!
