Yay, yay, yay!
Our wonderful clients and personal friends Ben and Allison recently had their wedding published in the spring issue of Weddings Unveiled and we could not be more thrilled to share their “I do” details with the world. There were so many personal touches and charming details to inspire. Make sure to read the article, too… their engagement story is hands down one of the sweetest we’ve heard. Hello again, blog world! I am so happy to post that another one of our favorite print and online publications, Southern Weddings Magazine, has posted photos of an uber-hip wedding from last year… Brooke and Victor’s Lowndes Grove soiree.
What we loved about this NY girl and southern guy’s wedding was that the look was simple and yet unexpected. We’ve seen blue a hundred times, but how about pops of electric blue contrasted with crisp, southern whites? Tres chic.

Whoohoo, what a fun flashback for us to see Marianne and Emre’s wedding on Charleston Wedding Magazine’s blog featured as this week’s “Flashback Wedding.”
Marianne and Emre’s wedding was quite simply gorgeous. Marianne was ahead of the gold and metallics trend and I have not seen The Rivercourse on Kiawah look as beautiful as it did that night.

Hooray! It’s always nice to come back home from vacation to good news… and great news this is!
Congrats to Marni Rothschild Durlach and all of the vendors who worked on Kirsten and Paul’s wedding this past October. It was just featured in The Knot’s national magazine and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

We’re all shedding a little tear for our beloved Modern Bride and Elegant Bride Magazines… the latest magazines to get the proverbial boot.
BUT- One of WED’s FAVORITE weddings from 2008 was featured in the very last issue! Please purchase the December/January issue and check us out on pages 242 – 245.
Kate and Ben were the most fun and crazy couple and there were so many fun aspects of this wedding… from the Navy SEAL whites to the orchid archways at the ceremony to the mac ‘n’ cheese bar to the branch chandeliers in the lounge tent and the crazy costumes at the poloroid photobooth, this night was pure entertainment…

Thank you SO MUCH to Dina of White Thread, a new blog for the sophisticated southern bride. This blog is chock-full of chic ideas (like this, this and this!) and my favorite part is that is speaks exclusively to brides and designers in NC and SC.
