Brigid & Joseph

July 18th, 2014

Brigid & Joe, both Oregon natives truly captured the look and feel of a Charleston style wedding. With an intimate guest count, the Wickliffe House was the “perfect match”. Guest sipped, Sweet Tea Vodka & Lemonade out of mason jars for a real southern experience, this paired perfectly with the passed Hors D’oeuvres. Stephen Darby of Epic Charleston really got the crowd moving and grooving.  In true Charleston form Brigid & Joe had a sparkler departure and rode off in a bike taxi as the new     Mr. & Mrs. Yoder.

Amber & Kyle

July 11th, 2014

Glitter always makes for a fabulous party but add a pop of color like coral and we have spectacular party. TEC and SYG teamed up to create a never seen before floral lighting installment over the dance floor, where guest danced the night away to Atlanta Rhythm & Groove band.

We love a bride with a sweet tooth! Amber & Kyle were definitely Mint to Be, and with the help of SYG we created a “seriously sweet” candy station. Our friends at River Street Sweets came out and made candied pecans for everyone at the reception.

Janie & Will

June 23rd, 2014

Natural colors including blush and light hues of green blended beautifully with the River Course at Kiawah providing a neutral atmosphere for Janie & Will’s summer wedding. Brighter pinks and oranges found in the floral and bridesmaid’s dresses excitedly popped off of the more neutral surroundings.

We absolutely love the floral mantel, which we were able to create with help from our friends at SYG. The mantel framed three wedding cakes masterfully created by Jim Smeal, two of which were done with blush, ombre frosting. The bride, groom and guests enjoyed lightening up the dance floor with glowing tambourines while jamming it out to the Maxx.

At the end of the dance party, Janie & Will made their exit while guests showered them with rose petals, riding away on a their very own tandem bike.

Paper that Impresses

May 22nd, 2014

We always go out with a bang, by why not start with one? We love a creative invitation that incorporates design elements from your wedding. Choosing a fun envelope liner such as this orange ikat or golden sparkles is a surprising way to give your guests a sneak peak of what’s to come!

Love it so much…why not do it twice? Jazz up both your invitation and save the dates for double the fun.

First Look

April 17th, 2014

One of our favorite moments of a wedding is seeing the groom’s face light up as he spots his bride for the first time. A fun way to capture this moment on camera is a first look! Here are a few of our favorite first looks from our past weddings…

Emily & JC

April 3rd, 2014

WED celebrated this past Valentine’s Day in New York style with the wedding of Emily and JC on February 15. Ivory and black elegantly decorated Lowndes Grove, which danced against shimmering, gold accents. Unique touches carried throughout the design including black menus placed on gold dinner plates toped with intricate ivory napkins, shaped as bows. Emily and JC shared some personal touches with their guests including a black and gold Charleston inspired gift bag. Finally the bride and groom expressed some love for their favorite sports team with JC’s Indiana University grooms cake, which we absolutely love, such a fun wedding to start off our 2014 season!

Jessica & Hunter

March 25th, 2014

We are so excited to have Jessica and Hunter’s September wedding published in Weddings Unveiled spring issue. Jessica and Hunter dreamed of a fall wedding in the North Carolina Mountains, which we were happy to oblige, taking our design skills up north to the town of Linville.

The Camp at Eseeola Lodge, with its open-air design was easily transformed to create the couple’s ideal atmosphere inspired through the natural surroundings. Located in the midst of Grandfather Mountain, the Camp provided us with the perfect setting to create Jessica and Hunter’s dream of an enchanting wedding.

Using a palette of neutrals, soft greens and grays, we worked with the Camp’s natural and rustic feel, to create an inviting atmosphere with breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. Jessica and Hunter welcomed their guests for an exciting weekend with custom welcome bags. Packed with a range of goodies, these mountain inspired welcomes included a specially made trail mix and moonshine. After a beautiful ceremony, guests enjoyed a sit down dinner, dancing the night away and a surprise firework show to end the magical night.
